We are the Hema people, a tribe located in the eastern part of Dr. Congo. We are a community of very organized and creative people, cattle keepers generally, God-fearing mostly. We believe that having harmony amongst ourselves first if more important than any other possible method we could think of in the process of our problem-solving. This web site is operated under the auspices of “The Hema community leadership committee” (registered), to serve as the world’s gateway to the Hema community; and to highlight and to promote the cultural and humanitarian development projects of the community. It is as well going to serve as the official website of the community after a number of agreements from both the community and its cultural leadership association committee. We are not going to move even a step forward if we have not accepted to learn and change our mentality, therefore we thought of a number of educational projects which will be in line with mentality change for we need a great move. We are known for brave, brilliant, but people lacking love with each other.
This website does not concern much of the other Hema tribes in other countries other than Congo DRC, However, we shall not minimize the Background and the story bit of the origin because if not a Bantu, each and every one of us are a product of a migrated particular community of people.
